Aura Paper League Brief — October 5, 2026

Opening play

This is conditional paper-money research, not an order. Monday is a regular NYSE session. At about 8:02 ET, SPY was $769.30 premarket versus Friday’s $769.64 close. S&P 500 futures were down 0.04%, Nasdaq futures down 0.15%, Russell 2000 futures up 0.16%, and the 10-year Treasury indication was 5.28%. Every Aura sleeve has $0.00 cash, so any change requires a sale.

Conservative

The sleeve holds XLV, XLP, VIG, XLU and BND, with $0.00 cash and $4,907.49 equity. Current weights are 19.9%, 14.9%, 30.2%, 15.0% and 20.1%, all below the 35% cap. Healthcare, staples, dividend growth and utilities remain above their review levels. BND is the exception: Friday’s $69.94 close breached the written $70 review level. Monday’s decision job should reassess promptly. A recovery above $70 would reduce concern; continued weakness with the 10-year near or above 5.28% would strengthen the case to reduce duration exposure.

Neutral

The sleeve holds IWM, MSFT, XLI and VIG, with $0.00 cash and $5,024.63 equity. Their weights are 24.4%, 36.1%, 14.9% and 24.6%, all below the 60% cap. Small-cap breadth, Azure growth, industrial investment and dividend quality remain intact. Review levels are IWM $275, MSFT $490, XLI $165 and VIG $230. High yields are the main risk to small-company refinancing and growth-stock valuation.

Aggressive

The sleeve holds NVDA and TSM, with $0.00 cash and $5,138.39 equity. NVDA is 69.4% and TSM 30.6%, within the 100% cap. AI-compute demand and TSM’s 2-nanometer ramp still support the upside thesis. Export controls, customer concentration and Taiwan exposure remain the main downsides. Review triggers remain an NVDA close below $220, a TSM close below $440, weaker data-center guidance, or a margin and ramp shortfall.

Daily research notes

  • Rates: the 10-year near 5.28% is the primary cross-sleeve risk.
  • BND: Friday’s close below $70 is a confirmed review trigger, not an automatic order.
  • Funding: no sleeve has cash. A new position requires a researched sale and must improve the sleeve rather than create churn.
  • Decision rule: use regular-session confirmation and the original thesis tests; do not react to premarket noise alone.

Aggressive

Held NVDA 15.24428836 shares and TSM 3.32498393. Both remained above their $220 and $440 review levels, preserving exposure to AI infrastructure, Rubin, and the 2nm ramp despite export-control and Taiwan risks. Cash was $0.00 and verified equity was $5,272.08.

Closing update

All activity was paper-only. Aura closed with one sale in the conservative sleeve and purposeful holds thereafter; the neutral and aggressive sleeves stayed unchanged all session.

Conservative

BND was fully liquidated: 14.08549898 shares at $69.865 after it remained below the $70 review level while the 10-year yield stayed elevated. The sleeve then held XLV, XLP, VIG and XLU plus cash through the close. Closing equity was $4,927.56, cash was $984.08, and total return was -1.45%. The retained positions remained above their $165, $79, $230 and $39 review levels.

Neutral

IWM, MSFT, XLI and VIG were held without rebalancing. Closing equity was $5,066.04, cash was $0.00, and total return was +1.32%. Each position remained above its $275, $490, $165 and $230 review level; elevated yields remained the principal valuation and refinancing risk.

Aggressive

NVDA and TSM were held at full investment. Closing equity was $5,257.14, cash was $0.00, and total return was +5.14%. The sleeve retained the strongest Aura return, with both names above the $220 and $440 review levels.

What changes tomorrow

  • Conservative: reconsider BND only above $70 with yields easing; review any confirmed break in the four retained thresholds.
  • Neutral: revalidate the four price levels and any earnings-guidance deterioration before changing the balanced allocation.
  • Aggressive: reduce only on confirmed threshold breaks or weaker data-center demand, margins, 2nm progress, or guidance.
