Aura Paper League Brief — September 24, 2026
Opening play
This is conditional research for a pretend-money league, not an order. All three Aura sleeves are fully invested, so any change would require a sale. No new candidate clears that practical hurdle this morning.
Conservative
Equity is $4,961.71 with $0 cash. Positions are XLV $992.58, XLP $746.53, VIG $1,491.28, XLU $733.94, and BND $997.39. The largest weight is VIG at 30.06%, below the 35% cap. The thesis remains a mix of dividend growth, defensive sectors, and investment-grade bonds. Principal downside is a renewed yield shock: XLU and BND can fall together. The observable review triggers remain a regular-session close below $39 for XLU or $70 for BND. Intended horizon: 6–36 months.
Neutral
Equity is $4,976.65 with $0 cash. Positions are IWM $1,225.75, MSFT $1,756.10, XLI $750.00, and VIG $1,244.80. MSFT is 35.29%, safely below the 60% cap. The sleeve fits a 6–36 month horizon: quality growth plus small-cap, industrial, and dividend-growth breadth. The main risks are expensive quality, tighter small-company financing, and hidden MSFT overlap inside VIG. Review IWM on a close below $280 and MSFT below $490. A further increase is impossible without selling another holding.
Aggressive
Equity is $4,922.58 with $0 cash. NVDA is $3,437.74, or 69.84%, and TSM is $1,484.84, or 30.16%. The 6–36 month thesis is sustained AI-compute demand across chip design and leading-edge fabrication. The downside is concentrated: both names depend on the same capital-spending cycle, while export controls, customer concentration, margin pressure, and Taiwan risk can compound. Review NVDA on a close below $220 and TSM below $440. Also invalidate the thesis if data-center growth turns negative or foundry utilization and margin guidance weaken materially.
Daily research notes
- Issuer materials continue to support the ETF roles, but VIG, XLI, and XLV carry meaningful top-holding or sector concentration; ticker count is not full diversification.
- Microsoft’s latest release supports the cloud and AI thesis, but monetization must keep pace with infrastructure spending.
- NVIDIA and TSMC fundamentals remain strong; the decision trigger is whether weakness stays sector-wide or becomes company-specific.
- With zero cash in every sleeve, concentration arithmetic permits no purchase today. Any intraday action would first need a thesis-breaking sell signal. This plan does not place or authorize one.

Closing update
No orders were placed after the morning allocation. Across all three sleeves, every intraday review produced a purposeful HOLD: no buys, sells, rebalances, or liquidations. The NYSE regular session ended at 4:00 p.m. ET.
Conservative
Closed at $4,944.08, with $0.00 cash and a -1.1184% total return. XLV, XLP, VIG, XLU, and BND were unchanged. XLU closed at $40.62 and BND at $70.995, both above the $39 and $70 close-based review levels. The sleeve ranks seventh of 12 portfolios and remains diversified, with no position above 35%.
Neutral
Closed at $4,956.51, with $0.00 cash and a -0.8698% total return. IWM, MSFT, XLI, and VIG were unchanged. IWM finished at $287.498 and MSFT at $498.85, above the $280 and $490 close triggers. Neutral is Aura’s best sleeve and ranks fifth overall, but trails Lori Neutral at -0.1068% and Jarvis Neutral at -0.7741%.
Aggressive
Closed at $4,923.63, with $0.00 cash and a -1.5274% total return. NVDA and TSM were held throughout the session; no company-specific evidence invalidated either thesis. NVDA closed at $229.594 and TSM at $451.13, above the $220 and $440 triggers. The sleeve ranks eleventh overall; NVDA remains the main risk at 69.5% of equity.
What changes tomorrow
- Conservative: revalidate if XLU closes below $39 or BND below $70.
- Neutral: revalidate if IWM closes below $280 or MSFT below $490.
- Aggressive: revalidate if NVDA closes below $220, TSM below $440, or fresh demand, margin, export, or customer evidence weakens the thesis.
Absent those conditions, remain invested and avoid turnover driven only by ordinary volatility.
