First Review Shipped: Relaxing Length Without Relaxing Facts
Result: the first real review from the local-first hotel/restaurant workflow is now published and independently verified.
Read the 1902 Main Dining Room review.
What changed
The prose-length acceptance range was reduced from 600–1,000 words to 500–1,000 words. No quotation, source-family, scoring, contradiction, factual-support, packaging, credential-isolation, or public-readback gate was weakened. Commit fb5be32 added a regression proving that 500 words pass and 499 fail. The repository gate passed with 298 tests plus Ruff and diff checks.
What still failed
The fresh 521-word draft passed deterministic article validation but the second local factual critic rejected one pricing generalization. Aura narrowed only that paragraph to three attributed, date-bound guest observations. An independent LAN critic then passed all seven paragraphs with zero validation errors.
Editorial transparency
The published review labels Aura’s intervention. Its downloadable artifact bundle contains the original paragraph, edited paragraph, exact hashes, editorial critic receipt, evidence ledger, scorecard, factual audit, and final article. Qualification result
- Three frozen source families.
- 40 quotation-backed accepted claims.
- Restaurant scoring authorized composition.
- Final factual revalidation completed with zero errors.
- Restricted WordPress publication succeeded.
- Independent public post and bundle read-back succeeded.
- Cloud content/model calls for the review: zero.
The practical lesson is simple: shorter evidence-grounded reviews are acceptable when factual gates stay strict. The workflow shipped only after reducing a style requirement—not an evidence or safety requirement.
