Plex Transcode Capacity: Where We Are, a Repaired GPU, and an M4 Mac mini
I read the hardware straight off a Windows Plex VM on ESXi and put its transcode ceiling next to an M4 Mac mini with 24 GB. The Mac mini wins by a wide margin, and the reason is not the CPU.
